Reaffirming its commitment to community development, on June 3, PVI Tay Nam Insurance, in collaboration with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province, held a sponsorship handover ceremony for the “Lighting Up Rural Roads” project and a social welfare programme benefiting 11 communes across the province, with total support exceeding VND7 billion.
The programme is one of PVI Tay Nam Insurance’s flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the Mekong Delta region, aimed at improving residents’ quality of life and contributing to the development of modern and sustainable rural communities.

Under a cooperation agreement signed with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province in March 2026, PVI Tay Nam Insurance implemented the programme “Free Bank Account Registration, Complimentary PVI Insurance and Rural Road Lighting Sponsorship” from March 20 to April 26, 2026 across 11 communes, including Ho Thi Ky, Nguyen Phich, Luong The Tran, Dat Mui, Tan An, Hung My, Phu My, Nguyen Viet Khai, Cai Doi Vam, Tan Hung and Khanh Binh.
The programme attracted nearly 37,000 participants, helping local residents gain access to digital financial services through bank account registration and the installation of cashless payment applications. In addition, PVI Tay Nam Insurance provided nearly 35,000 motorcycle insurance policies and more than 28,500 personal accident insurance policies for electricity-using households, contributing to greater awareness of financial protection and personal safety among local communities.
Building on the programme’s successful implementation, PVI Tay Nam Insurance contributed more than VND1.8 billion to the “Lighting Up Rural Roads” project, installing 600 solar-powered streetlights along approximately 24 kilometres of rural roads across the 11 participating communes. The project not only improves travel conditions and enhances public security and road safety but also promotes the use of clean and environmentally friendly energy.
In addition, the company allocated more than VND5.5 billion to social welfare activities, helping improve local living standards while supporting community development efforts across the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Director of PVI Tay Nam Insurance, stated that alongside business growth, the company has consistently identified social responsibility as a key priority. Going forward, PVI Tay Nam Insurance will continue to partner with Ca Mau Province and other localities across the Mekong Delta in implementing “Lighting Up Rural Roads” projects, social welfare programmes and other meaningful community initiatives.

Recognising the company’s contributions, Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province, highly commended PVI Tay Nam Insurance for its active support of social welfare programmes in the province. He noted that the company’s practical initiatives have helped improve local livelihoods, advance new rural development and foster a stronger culture of corporate social responsibility within the business community.
Through this programme, PVI Tay Nam Insurance continues to reinforce its role as a leading corporate citizen dedicated to community development, while demonstrating its commitment to sustainable growth that goes hand in hand with the well-being of local residents and the long-term development of the region.
