PVI Tay Nam Contributes VND 10 Billion to Social Welfare Programs in Ca Mau

On the afternoon of March 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province held a ceremony to receive VND 10 billion in funding from PVI Tay Nam Insurance Company to support rural lighting projects, digital transformation initiatives, and social welfare programs for the 2026–2030 period.

The event was attended by Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province.

During the event, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province and PVI Tay Nam Insurance Company signed a cooperation agreement for the 2026–2030 period. On this occasion, PVI Tay Nam presented a symbolic donation of VND 10 billion to the Committee. Under the agreement, both sides will coordinate to open free bank accounts for residents, provide PVI insurance coverage, develop rural lighting infrastructure in multiple localities, and implement various social welfare initiatives across the province.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Director of PVI Tay Nam Insurance Company, shared that the company aims to work closely with the local authorities to improve residents’ quality of life. The funding will support rural road lighting projects for the 2026–2030 period, helping enhance rural infrastructure, promote socio-economic development, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives in the province.

In his remarks, Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province, expressed sincere appreciation for PVI Tay Nam’s support and partnership in the province’s social welfare efforts. He noted that this contribution will help improve both the material and spiritual well-being of local residents, particularly disadvantaged groups, while supporting Ca Mau’s goals of sustainable and green development. He also expressed hope for continued close cooperation between the two organizations to ensure effective implementation of the program.

As part of the event, PVI Tay Nam Insurance Company presented 20 gift packages worth VND 1 million each to disadvantaged households in Phong Thanh Commune and Ho Thi Ky Commune. In addition, the Ca Mau Provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 20 scholarships, each worth VND 1 million, to students from disadvantaged backgrounds across the province.
