From March 12 to 14, 2025, PVI Insurance Corporation successfully conducted an intensive training program on Business Interruption (BI) Insurance for staff members from both PVI Insurance and Hanoi Re. The training was led by Mr. Andre Wegener and Mr. Olaf Koepper – two leading experts in insurance risk assessment and management in the fields of energy, high-tech, and heavy industry from HDI Global SE.
This program is part of a broader training cooperation initiative by HDI Global SE for units under PVI Holdings, aiming to enhance technical capabilities and standardize insurance knowledge in accordance with international practices for staff across the system.
In his opening speech, Mr. Vu Van Thang – Deputy CEO of PVI Insurance – emphasized the importance of staying updated with globally standardized insurance knowledge to strengthen competitiveness and deliver greater value to clients. He expressed confidence that, with their experience and deep expertise, the experts from HDI Global SE would provide a highly effective, creative, and inspiring learning experience for staff members from PVI Insurance and Hanoi Re.
This training not only helped enhance the professional competencies of the participating employees but also laid a foundation for PVI Insurance and Hanoi Re to strengthen their positions in Vietnam’s insurance market. Particularly for Business Interruption Insurance – a field requiring a high level of technical proficiency and practical experience – structured training is essential to meet the demanding standards of global companies and multinational corporations operating in Vietnam and abroad.

After more than two days of serious study and engagement, the training program concluded successfully. Participants who completed the course were awarded certificates presented directly by HDI’s experts.
