PVI Insurance Attends HSC’s 11th Annual Investment Conference – Shaping the Future of Vietnam’s Insurance Sector

From June 18 to 20, 2025, the 11th Annual Investment Conference organized by Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC) was held in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme “Vietnam’s Year of Changes.” This year’s event reaffirmed its position as one of the most in-depth and large-scale investment forums in Vietnam, attracting hundreds of global investors, listed and high-potential private companies, industry experts, and policymakers.

As part of the conference, Ms. Lê Hồng Linh – Deputy CEO of PVI Insurance – joined a panel discussion titled “Emerging Trends in Insurance & Strategic Direction for Vietnam’s Market.” Representing Vietnam’s leading non-life insurance enterprise, Ms. Linh shared strategic, real-world insights on regional integration, international expansion, and digital insurance development.

According to Ms. Linh, globalization and insurtech are the two key drivers unlocking major opportunities for Vietnamese insurers. She noted, “Free trade agreements and the ASEAN Economic Community have created a favorable legal framework that allows companies like PVI Insurance to expand into early-stage markets such as Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.”

From a capability standpoint, Ms. Linh emphasized the importance of PVI’s A- (Excellent) financial strength rating by AM Best, a global credit rating agency. She described it as a “financial visa” that enables Vietnamese insurers to participate more deeply in the global value chain—particularly in reinsurance and cross-border investment. She also highlighted the strategic partnership with Talanx Group (Germany) as a prime example of how international cooperation strengthens governance, product capabilities, and global outreach.

Ms. Linh further underscored the role of digital transformation in helping insurers reach international customers through e-commerce platforms. PVI Insurance has led the way in this field by establishing its subsidiary PVI Digital, building a modern, multi-platform insurance ecosystem.

In her view, the three pillars of global expansion for Vietnamese enterprises are technology, people, and corporate culture. Investment in AI and automation not only improves productivity and operational efficiency but also enhances customer experience—an essential factor in today’s insurance landscape. Moreover, developing globally minded leadership and a corporate culture aligned with international standards will provide a strong foundation for Vietnamese companies to go global confidently.

PVI Insurance’s participation in the conference not only reaffirmed its pioneering role in the development and international integration of Vietnam’s insurance market, but also demonstrated its strong commitment to shaping the future of the industry, enhancing brand reputation, and attracting both domestic and international investors.
