On June 10, 2026, in Can Tho City, PVI Insurance’s Mekong Delta region and Nam A Bank’s Mekong Delta region held a business kick-off ceremony, marking an important step in the implementation of the strategic partnership between the two sides, particularly in bancassurance and the development of a financial and insurance services ecosystem in the southwestern region.
The event was attended by Nam A Bank’s leadership, representatives of PVI Insurance’s management, leaders of branches and business units from both sides in the Mekong Delta region, as well as staff members responsible for implementing the partnership.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Thanh Vinh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PVI Insurance Corporation, emphasised that the kick-off ceremony marked an important milestone, demonstrating the determination of PVI Insurance and Nam A Bank to realise the cooperation contents agreed upon by both sides.
The combination of PVI Insurance’s insurance capabilities and Nam A Bank’s strengths in network, customer base and banking services is expected to open up new growth opportunities while enhancing the value delivered to customers.
Under the cooperation orientation, the two sides will coordinate the implementation of several key areas, including the distribution of PVI Insurance products through Nam A Bank’s branch network and digital channels; the provision of financial and banking solutions for PVI Insurance employees and customers; cooperation in collection and payment services; technology connectivity and data sharing to enhance customer experience; as well as joint communication, brand development and market expansion activities.
At the event, Ms. Lam Kim Khoi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Nam A Bank’s Mekong Delta region, shared strategic orientations for bancassurance cooperation with PVI Insurance. She also emphasised the important role of branches in the Mekong Delta in driving business growth and expanding the comprehensive partnership between the two sides.
Representing PVI Insurance’s bancassurance operations, Mr. Pham Van Minh, Head of Agency Partnership and Management at PVI Insurance, presented an overview of the comprehensive cooperation between PVI Insurance and Nam A Bank. His presentation covered the expanded areas under the Memorandum of Understanding, the coordination mechanism between the two sides, the benefits for customers and branches, as well as new products and key strengths for implementation in the Mekong Delta region.
The selection of the southwestern region as the first area for implementation reflects the strong expectations of both sides regarding the region’s development potential. Building on the established cooperation framework, PVI Insurance and Nam A Bank units in the Mekong Delta will continue to coordinate closely and develop specific action plans aimed at achieving practical and sustainable business results.
The success of the kick-off programme will serve as a foundation for PVI Insurance and Nam A Bank to further expand the scope of cooperation across their entire systems, with a view to long-term, effective and mutually beneficial development.
